1) Facebook can notify you when your friend's birthday is coming or which day your friend's birthday is. (That is, if your friend puts the correct information on his/her profile :P)

2) You can play different types of games if you are bored etc.

3) You can keep in touch with your friends via Facebook instead of SMS-ing or calling them :)

4) You can share your pictures, statuses, etc on Facebook instead of attaching images to emails.
